4.What are the limitations of cord blood storage?

Cord blood storage is often compared to an insurance policy. With the passage of time, the potential uses of cord blood stem cells are rapidly increasing. Nonetheless, as with any medical condition, success in treatment depends upon many factors beyond the stem cells themselves including but not limited to the patient’s conditions, the type of disease, the recipient-donor relationship and the level of matching of the stem cells in the case of allogenic use.

5.What happens if we never use the cord blood stem cells?

You may offer your cells to a public bank for further storage or you can choose to destroy them. The decision is entirely yours.
